Hamilton knew better than to swing at that pitch. Too high and he swings and misses it. 1 out

Why were Narron's bullpen decisions so predictably likely to blow up in his face? I knew we had problems as soon as Coffey went out there again and as soon as he decided to go with Cormier. Cormier should usually face one batter and NOT in a tied game with runners on. He doesn't miss bats at all!

I'm telling you guys; we seriously might have the worst manager in MLB.

I can't hardly take much more of him.

I wonder if Edwin will sit again tomorrow night?

I'd let Griffey have a night off.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

You have it exactly right CRF. 100% perfect tranzlation to what happened tonight. Narron hates EdE. Narron loves Coffey too much. Narron is an idiot for putting Cormier in the game against right handed bats and not against Berkman. One batter earlier, and I would have understood his coming in. But Narron allows Coffey to make the mistake.

    UGH!

Just talked to Daugherty on WLW and wanted to see what he thought about EdE sitting out tonight. His only answer was that if Freel was playing RF over Griffey and EdE was playing 3B over Freel, our defense would be worse.

    What?

Griffey did have a good night in RF, but you cannot convince me that Freel would have not made those plays Griffey did tonight. Griffey was waiting by the fence for that rob. Freel would have been there too and it is just timing after that. Then the great running catch Griffey made with the ball tailing away from him, Freel would have made it look like nothing as his range is far superior.

Freel just made his second error in as many games at 3B. How many errors has EdE made this year? Count em, a whopping zero.
