Not liking the lineup at all.

Phillips has struggled and has not taken many pitches so far this year.

Castro is starting and batting 7th.

Hamilton is sitting(my biggest problem of all with this lineup). He has actually been hitting well and Jerry decides to sit him two games in a row. I guess he's going to be the "next Edwin" in that regard. Freel should be at 2B with Gonzalez out and Phillips at SS so Hamilton can play.

I never thought we would be begging for Gonzo in the lineup. But that day is here. I hate the lineup as well. Especially with how bad we did against Lilly last week. This game is going to be interesting with a lot riding on the line. We can win the 3rd out of 4 series. We can hold on to first place, but only if we win. If we lose, it is back to .500 and another chapter in the books as the Reds sticks struggle against LHP.

I know our struggles vs lefties has to do with EdE being in a slump, Phillips not getting anything going at all, and Ross being ridiculously horrible. Hopefully these three can step up and contribute somehow today.

Dunn is out of the game with back spasms and Hamilton gets the start.

Man, I hope it doesn't sideline him long.

Way to start off our colossal struggles vs lefties Freel.

1-4 on the season vs LHP so far.

Thom and Chris didn't know Hamilton was in the lineup until he stepped into the batter's box.

    Hamilton flies out to LF.

    Reds 0, Cubs coming up.

Thom says "if we find anything out about Adam Dunn, we'll let you know." Strange that he didn't know.

huh, 1-2-3 start for Lilly. Reds at least made some contact, so I can't be too upset. Lets see how Lohse does...

Cubs broadcasters found out it was back spasms. If you hear anything about how bad it is, let me know.

I think you mean Cubs broadcasters.
