    Blackmail, easily.

Rich Aurilia wanted in on the blackmail Romano was using last season and since he is a minor leaguer, he took the cash and Rich got a starting position by threatening Dan O.

    Miley is dumb, unfortunately.

Man, you all arent giving the "crafty" vet enough credit. Hes gotta have some dirt on Miley or O'Brien that he is requiring them to start him everyday.

When you got a guy that has 3 HR's and 14 RBI's in only 44 at bats, then that's your sign that he needs to be in the lineup on a daily basis. To be honest, Aurilia sucks! Miley needs to get his act together and play the right player at the right position.

Even if FeLo's numbers were not that good, he should still be starting. It's not like Aurilia is fresh off his 37 homerun campaign. Everytime they start him over Lopez, it's just a gigantic slap in the face to both Lopez and all Reds fans. I thought the plan was for us to build through our youth. And no matter how the front office attempts to spin it, they had no intention of a truly open competition in ST. A 24 year old SS with a lot of promise exceeds the washed up vet in terms of performance and rides the pine. Any other world that happens in? Nope, it's just Reds Country.

One thing that concerns me with this is it just out of personal dislike for FeLo or the coaching staff/front office philosophy? Now I know that FeLo is playing more lately but they can only keeping Rich starting while struggling for so long. I hope when Gardner for instance is ready, that they won't keep in the bullpen or AAA (longer than they need to obviously) just to accomadate a veteran for instance, to give him another shot to perform like he once did, etc.
