That was Brocail's first HR given up this season in 28.1 IP.

We finally get a big game win. I will take a win any way we can get it these days, but to start off this series in this fashion makes me excited. The crowd was hype and they gave them a good show. Not the best game the Reds have played, but thankfully it worked out. I think Milton pitched well tonight, and I hope his elbow will be alright.

anyhow, great win tonight! 2.5 back now!

Lohse needs to have another good outing tomorrow night.

We can beat Peavy tomorrow. He is one of my favorite pitchers no doubt and he has earned that honor. But we can beat him. We just need a quality start once again from Lohse.

LaRue is on extra innings here in a moment.

Lets see if he has something to say about his lack of emotion after the walk-off HR.

The game I was worried about the most in this series was this one. Young has not lost on the road all year and Milton is Milton. You never know what you are going to get with him.

Whereas Lohse has been real nice and I have confidence in him even though he is facing Peavy. Then its Hensley vs Harang. That game we should win because our ace is on the hill.

I guess one game at a time is the way to go. Lets get tomorrow's game and win this series outright.

LaRue has played terrible this season, but as the most seasoned Cincy player on this team, it was so nice to see him do something that he can feel proud of. You know he hates the way he has played this season, he probably feels jaded that he can't get consistent AB's so he could have chance of turning it around, but for night... he was the hero.
