The Cards are double-digits over .500 right now and have started to win down the stretch. I know you don't want to believe it, but it's true. I would imagine they'd take offense to you saying they are among the teams "in shambles."

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

    Rolen: .919 OPS
    Duncan: .965 OPS

Those aren't impressive numbers at all.

Duncan is looking more and more like yet another "Jocketty Gem."

It appears he is the only one who realized the enormous talent Duncan has.

Duncan's dad might have something to do with it. Duncan makes a routine fly ball look like a circus act. Rolen is still the best defensive third baseman out there and if that doesn't impress you than only god himself can.

As inconsistent of a team the Crads have been, they will be a tough out and here are the 3 reasons:

    1. Pujols
    2. Carpenter (3 times in a seven game series if necessary)
    3. LaRussa (good manager)

Oh yeah... Reason one form my previous post Pujols (MVP)... We all need to remember, Oujols was out for three weeks earlier in the year, can you only imagine his numbers if he wasnt hurt in May/June.... Howard is going to give him a run for his $$$$$, but it is Pujols' time.. It is just like when the MVP's were going to Bonds and Pujols gave him a run for his money quite possible shouold have one at least one from Bonds... It is all about paying you dues, I guess that is how the voters decide!!!!

One game doesn't change the fact that the Cards are a better team than us, on paper and in the records. But despite that, Lohse looked damn impressive yet again.
