One thing I have noticed about Pujols lately is that he looks for the pitch to be in the same area as the first one when he considers if it will be inside or outside and which way he will try and go with it.
Or at least it seems that way to me.

Well I started thinking about it last series. I say many ABs where they would pitch him outside and he has great command of the strike zone so he layed off anything out of the zone. Then they surprised him in a way on an inside pitch and he completely layed off it for the called strike. He may be looking outside as he knows a lot of pitchers just won't challenge him in anymore.
Arroyo did the same scenario to him earlier tonight.
Tyler Johnson in to pitch.
