Jimbo will offer the biggest piece of shit veteran talent they have, and we'll take it.

I wonder what considerations have to be followed though. Does it have to be someone at the caliber of Majewski? Or can Bowden rape us even further?

    From Rotoworld:

Gary Majewski, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list today, said his shoulder has been a problem all season long.
"It's been bothering me for a while, after the World Baseball Classic," he said. "I tried to fire it up too quick." Majewski added that he has taken anti-inflammatory drugs since early in the season and received a cortisone shot before the All-Star break. "That's the first I've heard about it," said GM Wayne Krivsky, who paid a hefty price to bring in Majewski and Bill Bray last month.

Krivsky seems kind of dumb. Even moreso than when the trade actually went down.

    EdE K's.

5-0 Cards after 1. Terrible AB there by EdE, but Weaver does NOT give up a Run. Nice job by that Jocketty acquisition.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Dude, you want to say the Cards are better? Fine, that's true. But if the Reds acquired Jeff Weaver and put him in the rotation, you would be all over Krivsky's inept attempt the fix the rotation. Weaver is junk.
