Me too. Come on Graves! You really suck right now and deserved to be booed. What the heck do you expect? For us to not care?

From what I'm hearing from those who heard him... apparently he was very offensive and outlandish...and didn't mention ANYTHING about blowing the game. Just the fans.

It seems like these comments are so intense that they should be in the paper and could run him out of town with the local media!

I heard part of what he said on the radio.

He said that the booing made the team "feel small"(LOL) and that they were "trying their best".

Honestly, what did you guys scream when Graves gave up the Mabry Home Run?

I know you guys screamed something. Perhaps broke something as well. So what was it?

I yelled out the F word and punched my front door really hard. Man Graves pisses me off.

Well, I didn't say the 'F' word, since I rarely cuss, but I did scream a little bit. I was not surprised since Graves was pitching though. (So that cut down on my shock/anger because I was somewhat expecting what happened)

I was watching the game at my girlfriends house and since her mom was in the room... I was limited in my freedom to express myself. I literally had to bite my tongue.

    LOL mission.

Sounds like the Yankees have made major roster moves tonight. Breaking News on BBTN...

    I'm sure O'Brien wont'.

From what I've read, the Yanks are calling up Cano, moving Womack to left, Matsui to center, and Bernie to the bench with some injury...weird.

Tough luck tonight...damn. I'm watching the highlights. If I were a Red fan, I'd have no TV left. That was a tough play for Casey, but I think a good chunk of 1B would have had it. Casey's still very good though, tough, tough throw.

Let's not forget Casey got on base five times tonight.

Jimenez is lazy anyway. I don't like his attitude. He doesn't even look like he cares.

Fisher, Casey had been virtually flawless with his scoops until tonight. You can't get them all.

  12. #192
Trust me, I'm not blaming Casey. It was a hell of a try and I doubt many 1B would have got it, but it was a makeable play that would have made the game 9-4 end. Of course, so would competent pitching or a good throw (coughMIcough).

It's certainly not the offense's fault tonight.

Edit: When I said most 1B would have got that above, I was wrong.

BTW, I apologize if I am a bit irrational tonight, I just discovered I lost the disk for my partner project due on Wednesday, so I'm a little peeved.

FWIW, my team's pen is doing just as bad as yours is.

Foulke's been off the whole year
Embree and Timlin are becoming unreliable (.2 IP, 3 ER for Embree tonight)
Our other pen guys are a Padres reject (Neal), an injury-prone flamethrower (Mantei), and a guy named Lenny. (Not to mention our new 4th SP, Halama!)

At least the players in your pen don't have the attitude Graves does. It's miserable. I want to dump him SO badly.
