Reds and FSN Ohio announce 12 year extension of TV rights

Starting in 2007, FSN Ohio will show the maximum amount of games allowed by MLB and its contract with Fox and ESPN, which is 145.

This will probably mean a decent bump in TV revenue for the Reds.

This was announced on the Reds game coverage tonight.

That is FANTASTIC. I got so spoiled with the increased televised games before the ASG, that I really couldn't listen to the radio with the same patience. Obviously it still has it's charms, but FSN does a pretty nice job. We're lucky to get a deal like that, hopefully it will help the payroll and bring a greater interest of the Reds back to the area.

    awesome. thats just awesome.

i have the extra innings for my dish network, so whenever the reds aren't on it just feels weird.

hopefully the other 15 games will be televised now that reds can prove that they can play national tv (2-0 this year right?)
i'm scraped and sober but there's no one listening

The rest of the games have a chance of being televised on either Fox or ESPN.
