Seems like a boring night for you CRF. Sorry I haven't been around for this one. Although given our LOB I am seeing, it doesn't seem like I would of wanted to see this one.

    Jenkins K's. 2 outs.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Weathers is coming into pitch. This could get even worse.

Shackelford is out now. Another pitcher coming in.

And yeah mission, it has been pretty ugly since the 2nd inning.

I hope to make it to the end of this one, but I'm going to "Bobbie Macky's" Country-Western Bar around 10:30 or so for a couple hours so we'll see.

    Weathers in to pitch.

Bell grounds out to SS to end the inning.

    5-3 Brewers after 7.

I might need those drinks at the end of this one after seeing them blow so many chances and make so many mistakes in a game that would be a huge win if actually won.

    Cordero in to pitch.

With Sheets going tomorrow, we need this one, but Narron might have us rely on Clayton instead of Freel and EdE here in these last couple innings.

Enjoy those drinks man. I hate games like this, when we're down but shouldn't be and an easy win with the Cardinals loss would of made the night so much more for everyone who was watching.

How did Germano look? It seemed like he was on a bit of a roll early on.

Phillips K's swinging. That was a terrible AB. 1 out.

    Running out of outs.

Germano got a bit unlucky in terms of having hits "squirt" through, but he gave up too many baserunners regardless.

By the way, I never thought I would actually root for the Cubs. But with this Cardinals series, I've been rooting them on like crazy, like most have. I really dislike them a lot more than the Cardinals (although the media's obsession with them or any team gets to me.)

    Valentin PH.

No signs of Freel or EdE even being used at all in this one.

    Valentin lines out to CF.

    5-3 Brewers, Mid. 8th.

Valentin PH despite being a terrible player all year long just like he has most of his career.

If Clayton isn't PH for by Edwin or Freel to leadoff the 9th, I'm going to break something.
