And that still does NOT get Narron off the hook for waiting to use EdE until a point at which the game might well have been over. There is NO WAY Clayton should EVER hit in that type of situation! Just never.

Oh, lest I almost forget what I said earlier...Happy B-Day Denorfia!

I don't think it can get much better than that.

Someone who saw Denorfia's hit live thinks he would have been safe on an infield single even if Barmes had come up with the ball, but obviously the winning run wouldn't have scored then.

    MVP: Arroyo

Denorfia got that hit, but Arroyo is the reason we had a chance of winning this one in the 9th.

    Yeah not a bad week.

Becomes a starter in The OF FINALLY and brings home the reds a W and 1.5 game lead on SF for the Wildcard.. the bigger the lead the more slack we get to be inconsitent

What a crazy play, especially when it looked like all hope was lost. I was doing a lot of stuff with setting up the new gallery and other features yesterday but would check this thread to see what was going on and after the late inning lead for the Rockies and Aurilia coming through like we all feared, I was pretty disgusted. But lady luck was obviously on our side. Now only if the Cardinals can start losing again.... hmmm.
