Lopez flies out to CF on the first pitch. 1 out.

Griffey grounds out to the pitcher. 2 outs. The first two pitches were taken which was good, but then he swung at one on the ground.

Aurilia singles to CF. Ugh. Now he's batting 4th against RHP for another two weeks.

Suddenly the ESPN guys are praising the Reds. Someone must have whispered something in their ear pieces.

What a crappy inning by the Reds. Hatteberg leads off with a walk and then the Reds go 1-2-3.

Cant complain about the start we got from Ramirez. 7 IP, 5 hits, only 1 bb, and 10 ks. Hopefully the offense can get some runs here in the home half so Ramirez can leave with him being the pitcher of record.

    Make that 8 IP as:
    - G. Gross hit for B. Shouse
    - G. Gross grounded out to second
    - R. Weeks flied out to deep right center
    - B. Clark grounded out to shortstop
    - End of Inning (0 Runs, 0 Hits, 0 Errors)

Wow what a play by Freel to rob Weeks of at least a double. Still Ramirez is doing all we could ask.

Reds win on a 3 run jack by Dunn in the 11th. Other than that, the Reds flat out sucked today, especially with RISP.

Yeah, but he was 0-5 with 3 K's before that IIRC.

MVP: Ramirez- I really like what I saw of him today.

Honorable Mention: Coffey, Aurilia, Hammond, and Dunn.

    Offense was pathetic.

Nice walk-off shot by Dunn. This offense hadn't scored a run in 24 previous attempts with RISP. What is up lately. Another interesting note, Griffey is just hitting above .190 at home this season.

Anyhow, I am happy to get the win finally. Ramirez deserved it but couldn't get it on his record even after he threw a career high 10 Ks. Great pitching from him. Am I sold? I am getting there. But this offense needs to step it back up.

    MVP: Ramirez
