EdE on 15 day DL/ Olmedo up

Reds placed third baseman Edwin Encarnacion on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 7, with a sprained left ankle.
Encarnacion wasn't supposed to need 15 days off, but he'll get it. The Reds will go with Ryan Freel and Rich Aurilia at third base until Encarnacion returns later this month. Freel is again looking like a fine play in shallow mixed leagues. Jun. 9 - 3:01 pm et

I hate it when young talent gets hurt. It slows down the improvement process. At least its just for a few weeks.

This injury won't hurt us that much. Aurilia and Freel with give us better defense.

Yeah that is true and Aurilia and Freel have been on fire at the plate lately as well. So I guess from a staying in contention standpoint, this may not hurt the team as a whole.
