    Game 44: Reds @ Tigers 5/21/06

Reds lose 1-0 on a run scored due to an Aaron Harang throwing error.

MVP: Dunn - he layed down a freakin bunt to move a runner to 2B!

Bum: Harang - pitched great, but his error cost them the game.

MVP: Harang, pitched a hell of a game

BUM: Entire offense, several times couldn't get a run in from 3rd with less than 2 outs. This is why this offense still isn't right.

The dude throws 8, striking out 9 and he is the bum? Wha? Yeah we saw the error, but even with it, going 8 strong with giving up one run is a hell of a night, regardless of whether or not that cost the game. It's not Harang's fault that this offense has been bum-like. You can't ask more out of a REDS pitcher than what Harang gave.

I could ask for him not to throw that ball which eventually led to the run scoring.

The TeamJoke slide I predicted continues.

    MVP: None

The Dunn bunt was stupid. I'm not sure who called for it, but you don't have one of the best hitters in the NL bunt when he represents the go-ahead run on the road.

Giving away outs with a hitter like Dunn is never smart, especially when you were going to use the awful Valentin as a PH.

I worked 1-9 today, but we had a break so I got to hear the top of the 9th.

What a shock...another throwing error by a pitcher scores a run(s) for the other team. The team is SO bad fundamentally.

We are now FOUR games out of 1st place as not surprisingly the Cards won again on the strength of Pujols and his 81 HR, 199 RBI pace and crew.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

MVP: harang he's been doing great this season everyone makes a mistake now and then

if our damn offense would have at least scored two friggen points that error wouldn't have been a factor and I agree wtf@having Dunn bunt :| he could have hit at least a good sized Double for a score or get the guy on first to third damn
