BBTN will have a segment on Griffey's HR drought

Its on ESPN right now as they said when they return from commercial, they will talk about the HR drought. I wonder what they are going to say. They better not talk crap!

Larry Bowa says that Griffey has set high standards and is putting to much pressure on himself. He says once he hits one, he will start going. Bowa says that Junior is just fine and he will continue to produce like he always has.

Bowa doesn't hate him as much as some others at ESPN do.

It's because Griffey hasn't hit a HR vs. the Phillies before.

Is that true? Anyhow, I agree. Bowa surprised me by not talking any smack. I was completely expecting it coming from BBTN. I also agree with him. Griffey may be putting too much pressure on himself as the media keeps talking about it. To me, it is not as important to hit these home runs as it is to get some hits. They are making him want to hit one out every time up. Or they will make it that way if they don't leave it alone. BTW, Thome just hit his first bomb today.

Yeah. The Phillies are the only team he hasn't hit a HR against before.
