Whats with everyone basically throwing Ramirez out already like he was some Rick White and like how people wanted to throw Krivsky out as soon as he made the Pena for Arroyo deal??? Ramirez 22 yrs old, am I expecting him to be the next super star ace? No, lets give the guy a chance just to see what hes capable of. Germano pitched Saturday so chances are the team didnt know about Milton until it was too late to pull Germano off his start and do you really want to go with Doug, Dan, I mean Dave Williams on short rest?

1 strike and your out now???

Geez tough crowd, not everyone can be Felix Hernandez.

If he struggles its not like he's our only option at AAA. This year he hasnt walked a single batter, why not see what he can offer the MLB team? He does well maybe trade bait if he isnt in the long term plans... We LIKELY found out about Milton until it was too late to call up Germano on SATURDAY. Elizardo might be here for 1-2 starts at most give the TWENTY TWO years old (younger than ME) guy A CHANCE!!!

like all of the top position player prospects... riiiiiighhht. if all of AAA is actually AAAA, then the term AAAA becomes meaningless as it refers to all of AAA which we already have a name for: AAA.

AAAA players are those players who have shown consistantly that they can succeed at the AAA level and not the major league level. Young prospects like EZ, all of those noted above, and all of the top position player prospects like justin upton and the like do not qualify because at best they may have had a cup of coffee at the mlb level.

    I would like to make a correction Elizardo's Twenty-Three not Twenty-Two. Turned 23 on January 28.

Thats pretty tough words for a guy that pitched in 6 games for the Reds last year. While I agree with many that he isnt going to be a stud SP, I think he can be a servicable pitcher in the big leagues. But regardless of anyone's opinion, how can you judge a 22 yr old when he has only pitched in 13 games in the majors. If you take that approach on most young guys, no one would ever make it. Look at Felipe, EdE, hell, even Phillips now. Basically just give the guy some time before you decide that he sucks.
