    White Sox Thanks for staying Mr. Konerko

    Yes, some are saying the White Sox over paid. I don't think so. He was a solid and consistent contributor who played a very large role in the success of the White Sox this season.

    Baltimore offered him about $6.5 million more for the same 5 years, but Konerko chose to stay and try to help the Sox repeat.
