Red Sox involved with Japanese Exchange Program

The Official Site of The Boston Red Sox: News: Sox announce Japan exchange program

This is terrific for both the organization and the youth involved. It is important for organizations like the Red Sox to get involved in foreign nations, but to do so for the youth is impressive. And to allow youth baseball players from America to go to Japan only makes this idea better. I love it, and I hope to see more teams involved with programs like this.

You do have to admire them for treating their foreign players with a little more respect, as opposed to some other high profile team *cough*, when their owner calls an import a Fat Toad *cough*

Dice-K must be excited about this, though?

I'm sure Dice-K is very happy. Although it probably has more to do with Yu Darvish than Dice-K, seeing as how Dice-K is already wrapped up. And I love the Irabu reference, haven't heard about him in a while. Wonder if he's still fat?

Wonder if he still owns a voodoo doll of Georgey. That last pin he put in the doll nearly KO'ed Steinbrenner. He clearly has a doll of Hank and stuck a pin in his head. Explains a lot, actually.

He must continuously use that Hank doll to make him talk. Hank never shuts his damn mouth...and now we finally know why.

I don't even want to guess how much will end up being invested in that guy if he does come to the U.S. Dice-K's contract will look petty in comparison.

Yeah, but it's hilarious that Cashman barely acknowledges him. George put the fear of God into Cashman and the players. Hank's just the center of mockery and funny jokes.

I'm guessing 60-75 million for the posting fee....and then probably a 7 year, 65 million dollar contract. Something in that range. It could get sickening though...

...And Hank is just a nuisance. That's why Hal secretly has more control

Because Hal is a sinister robot, biding his time, waiting to pounce on the league.

Haha, and he's in charge of the business aspect. He's probably so much smarter than Hank...We'll find out in a few years that Hank got drunk and lost control of the Yankees in a family poker match

Shit, he'd wager his part of the yankees and lose to Charles Barkley.
Just when Sir Charles claimed he was done gambling.

Are you kidding? If Charles Barkley got partial control of the Yankees, I think I would cry with joy. That man is awesome.

And yes, Hank is the center of jokes and mockery. He himself is a joke. I can't wait for him to be assassinated by his brother. It's gonna happen.
