    Sox have five All-Stars

The Official Site of Major League Baseball: News: Major League Baseball News

Ortiz was voted in at first base and will be the lone starter for Boston.

Beckett, Papelbon, Lowell, and Ramirez were all picked as reserves, I believe all by the players.

Hideki Okajima is on the 31st man ballot with four other AL pitchers including Bonderman, Neshek, Escobar, and Halladay.

I was hoping for four in, but not Lowell or Ramirez, instead Youkilis...I'll take it though

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

Youkilis deserves it more than Manny & Lowell.

Lowell is justifiable as he was the second best 3B in the AL...but Youk could do the same thing and he's been better

Make it six, Okajima is in the all star game.

I think Okie deserves a shot at the All Star game. With an 0.88 ERA that is pretty damn impressive. The guy on the Redsox that should not be there is Manny.
