Markel Brown might as well. Hollins or any coach's biggest issues would be 1. Lopez ever staying healthy (he became a good shot blocker) and 2. Getting your PG to give a damn. I feel like the cubs winning a World Series is more likely than #2

they're definitely not giving up gibson, hes too valuable... maybe we steal mirotic and a very down the road number 1? or maybe they view butler as expendable with mcdermott and melo coming in?

theyre a legit contender with a starting 5 of rose-dougie-melo-gibson-noah. and with that lineup, theyll be able to bring around some cheap bench pieces.

and you know who else intrigues the hell out of me... charlotte, after they give lance stephenson a monster deal.

Kyrie Irving, 5yrs/90 mill (cavs extension)

Marcin Gortat, 5yrs/60 mill (resigning with wiz) ...13ppg, 10rpg, 1.5 gets you a massive pay day.

Shaun Livingston getting the full mid level exception for 3 years from GSW. I like they're getting a good backup PG.

yea the wiz were pretty much forced to overpay gortat [and soon ariza too]. that team is what it is, but they made great strides last year, they couldnt abandon ship now... they gotta keep it together. plus the league is totally devoid of decent big men. if melo re-signs with the knicks [or just doesnt go to chicago], and bron goes to the western conference anywhere, the wizards are arguably the best team in the east [i realize neither of those things are gonna happen].

i also read jodie meeks signed with detroit for 3 years. i was under the interpretation they wasted the 8th pick in the draft last year on jodie meeks, only his name was kentavious caldwell-pope. good job admitting that was a total mistake already.

I had more verbage in cause I was thinking they spent 12 mill on a center that can't make 50% of his shots. I thought only Indiana did that

Did they even play KCP enough to see if he's someone to stick in the rotation as a shooter? I realize Singler is their only capable 3 point shooter. It's scary they let SmiF, Jennings, Bynum, and Stuckey all attempt 3's. Wow, and I thought SmiF was the only offender.

not really, he played like 20 mpg. but he shot under 40% and under 32% from 3, for a guy who was supposed to come in with his only legit skill being shooting. that team is a mess anyway, i take great pride in the fact that the pistons are in worse long term shape than the knicks.

Easy fix. First person that'll take SmiF, dump him. Keep Monroe, cause he and Drummond are a good pair. That's a good short term fix.

And then pray Brandon Jennings retires to play overseas.
