    Estrada traded to Arizona

    http://www.ajc.com/braves/content/sp...08estrada.html

The Atlanta Braves moved to add depth to their pitching staff on Wednesday by acquiring righthanders Lance Cormier and Oscar Villarreal from Arizona in exchange for catcher Johnny Estrada.

Cormier, a 25-year-old who played collegiately at Alabama, went 7-3 with a 5.11 ERA in 67 appearances for Arizona last season. Villarreal, who just turned 24, was 2-0 with a 5.47 ERA in 11 games in 2005.

Good! I like Villarreal...but I think we could have gotten more.

I don't care who we get, I'm just happy he's out.

    McCann's always been a catcher.

Man I will miss Oscar. But now the D-Backs have a decent catcher.

I know you're stoked .....I think they play the Angels in inter-league this season. Maybe Estrada can meet up with Erstad again....... :

Of course the Braves could have gotten more. These guys are not that good not that Estrada is a god but at least Johnny has the title of All Star. Poor trade.
