Thread: Eddie Perez done?

    Braves Eddie Perez done?

Eddie Perez (shoulder) may have played his last game.
''It's better,'' Perez, who hasn't played since May, said of his ailing right shoulder. ''It just isn't good enough. I'm still working to try to play. I don't know if I can.'' He's 37 years old and with Brian McCann there to backup Johnny Estrada, the Braves don't really miss him

Bench coach, anyone? Cox likes Eddie and will bring him back somehow.

The move that should have happened a while ago:

Braves transferred catcher Eddie Perez from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list.
This opens up a 40-man roster spot and creates playoff-roster flexibility. Perez might be done because of his sore right shoulder.

I'll miss him. He was always a funny guy around the clubhouse.
