I admit ditching Allfonseca was a huge mistake, but hindsight is 20/20. Kolb was supposed to rock.

Yes. He got Kolb who had ONE GOOD YEAR! That was his best season out of his career. I mean he is fading fast and we pay him what $3.5mil - $5mil? I would much rather pay furcal that.
We needed a closer to replace Smoltz; Kolb was available. He was young, and good. I didn't like the trade, but couldn't argue with it.

I always found dealing Boone and Klesko for Sanders and Veras to be scathing. But then again, who could see Sanders and Veras missing most of the season? Also hated the trades with the Injuns. HATED.
