    Braves Mets @ Braves

    (2-1) vs. (1-3)

4/4 Game 1: Postponed due to rain.

    4/5 Game 2: John Maine (0-0, -.-- ERA) vs. Tim Hudson (0-0, 2.57 ERA)

    4/6 Game 3: Johan Santana (1-0, 2.57 ERA) vs. John Smoltz (0-0, -.-- ERA)

This should be a great series. The Braves have the top 3 starters pitching.

I'm feeling 2 out of 3 for the Mets.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I'm hoping and praying for a sweep. The Bravos killed the Mets last season.

I see it being a very close series. My predictions:

    Game 1: 5-3 Mets win
    Game 2: 6-4 Mets loss
    Game 3: 3-1 Mets win

O man, Johan vs. Smoltz is gonna be amazing. I cannot WAIT for that game. And come to think of it, Maine vs. Hudson is gonna be pretty good too. Unfortunately for you LJ, just the way the pitching falls, I think the Braves take at least 2 out of 3 in this series. I honestly don't know which 2, but they will win 2 of the 3. And one of them will be game 2.

The thing to keep in mind is that
    1) the Braves couldn't hit Pelfrey last year( 8IP, 4 hits, 2 runs).
    2) The mets have so much motivation against Tom Glavine.
    3) Smoltz gave up 11 runs in 25.2 IP against the Mets last year
4)Hudson gave up 10 runs in 27 IP against the Mets

These games will all be very close

I think Hudson's going to be sharp though, he looked phenomenal on Opening Day, and his sinker was working really well. I'm interested to see how Smoltz performs after coming off the DL.

Well Game 1 is postponed due to rain. It was stated to be made up as a doubleheader on May 20th.

Last time I was in Atlanta when it was raining it was raining hard, heavy & lightning. My mom was driving and we got in a car accident going South on I-75.

Game 2 will show case Game 1's matchup with Maine & Hudson. Game 3 will show case Santana & Glavine. Game would of been Santana & Smoltz but Smoltz will pitch Game 1 against the Rockies.
