Braves at the plate: Andruw Jones' third-inning RBI single provided the Braves with their only run. Chipper Jones, Pete Orr and Matt Diaz each contributed a single.

Astros at the plate: Eric Bruntlett's two-out, two-run single in the sixth inning provided the visitors with a three-run lead. Carlos Lee had an RBI single in both the third and fifth innings.

Braves on the mound: Tim Hudson allowed just two infield singles and recorded a strikeout in two scoreless innings. Jonathan Johnson surrendered five hits and allowed three runs (one earned) in two innings.

Astros on the mound: Jason Jennings issued two walks and registered two strikeouts in his two scoreless innings. Dave Borkowski surrendered three hits and issued two walks while allowing just one unearned run in his two-inning performance.

Grapefruit League records: Astros 1-3, Braves 2-1
