on the more important note, i havent watched hendricks/lawler yet... dont know who wins, but i wanna save that one for last, since the time on the video would indicate it goes to the judges, and i wanna score it. i did watch pettis/melendez though... pettis is such a beast. what a beautiful guillotine.

finally got a chance to watch hendricks/lawler... i had hendricks winning 48-47. ironically, i had lawler winning the first fight... so i had it reversed both times. i thought rds 1-3 were clear to hendricks, and even round 4 was close until those last 20 seconds where hendricks just turtled up on lawlers leg, and let robbie hit him unanswered about 10-15 times.
i know all about protect yourself at all times... but that was pretty cheap by willie gates. thrilled he didnt end up finishing right there.
the ref told moraga "i didnt see it, you gotta fight"... but most fighters will let their opponent get their air back after getting kicked in the balls. it wasnt dirty, just kinda cheap... meh.
and moraga finished him in the 3rd... fist bump to karma.
main card is gonna be sick. love mitrione, overeem is still the most dynamic heavyweight striker on the planet... with a chin thats equally as explosive, i kinda expect dos santos/miocic to be one sided [for jds]... and then anything involving a diaz is automatic gold. especially when youre bitching for 14 months about your contract, and then show up 5 pounds overweight for your first fight back.
the polish girl thanked the judges. i didnt really watch the fight much honestly, so i dont have an opinion either way who won [womens fights are entertaining, but meh... i just lose interest], but anyone who has to thank the judges... especially in a sport like this... probably didnt deserve the win.
