It's what happens to those fighters who start as young as Shogun. Too many wars and eventually you lose your chin or ability to take as many "big" shots.

rumble vs gustafsson in stockholm for january 24th. awesomeness. this should set us up for the end of april, middle of may for jones/cormier vs rumble/mauler. barring anything catastrophic at least.

Mark Hunt steals a victory and an interim title before Cain takes it back and disappears for another year or two.

i hope beyond hope that mark hunt knocks out werdum in the 1st or 2nd [his cardio wont hang with werdums much past that] and takes the belt. but, i dont see it happening. i see werdum taking him down at will honestly.

    Re: MMA Thread

i finally got around to bellator last night, but i stopped right before the brooks/chandler fight, because i wanted to score it. i didnt know who won going in, i did a good job avoiding all the info about it. what a weird fight. i think chandler blacked out at the end of that fight, brooks knocked him out and yet chandler stayed walking around and conscious. absolutely sick. that right hook knocked him out, yet he was too tough to go down.

and now im intrigued by tito/bonnar, just because of bloodlust reasons. in all likelihood, im expecting a wrestlefuck fest... but id like to see them both stand and trade and have a simultaneous knockout.

what a grueling fight between vallie-flagg and wiman. i thought wiman won, itll be close though. regardless, the two were jawing at each other after the fight, and naturally they cut away. they shouldve stuck with that.

really impressive striking out of chico in his flyweight debut. im not sure how this fight got higher billing than benavidez/ortiz... which just displayed how amazing benavidez is, even though ortiz was tough as hell and just kept coming.

impressive striking from barboza, no shocker there. none of them may have hurt bobby green, as he brushed everything off in the fight... but they were all connecting hard. i got barboza winning 30-27.

frankie up 2 rounds to none on cub. if frankie wins a decision, id think it opens the door for mcgregor to be next in line if he finishes siver.
