well, its a shame hes got a jaw made of glass, because hes still an unbelievable striker in style. he got clipped twice though, and that was the end of him. poor reem, no roids and no jaw.

He's not going to be much more than a gate keeper at this point.

im not a big fan of any of the guys who have knocked him out recently... silva, browne or rothwell. so gatekeeper seems even a little strong to me... hes a name, thats about it.

Well after tonight you can definitely say that, but he is in the same class as those guys to me and if he had another shot he'd still give a good fight but would still potential get knocked out again. I don't know if any of those guys can beat either Cigano or Cain

meh... before tonight id still have stubbornly held on to him being better than silva and browne, even with losses to them. ben rothwell though... yeesh. having a chin is a skill. a skill that overeem clearly lacks. id put overeem with mir and big nog at this point... names, nothing more. youll draw fans just based on seeing those names on a card, but theyll never get close to contendership or a major fight ever again. and theyre not even big enough names to elevate someone. if mitrione knocked overeem out in 3 months, id be happy for mitrione, but im not sure itd put him in any bigger spot than he is right now.

the heavyweight division is what it is right now, especially without dc... cain and junior at the top, werdum as the wild card, and a bunch of guys that have fun knockout/finish potential, and no real title aspirations. nelson, miocic, hunt, browne, bigfoot, barnett.

this fight, however, im looking very much forward to. i think the winner of this should get the next shot at weidman. ive been clamoring for jacare to get a shot for a while, but mousasi is just as legit.

i just got around to watching arlovski/bigfoot from last night. arlovski sitting on the cage going "you wanna boo me? well then fuck you too." and then his corner man running over and going "no! tell them you love them! tell them you love them in the interview." pre-emptive damage control. awesome.

one of the stronger top to bottom cards on tonight, starting in about a minute on fox sports 1... and then it heads over to ppv for an awesome main card.

good ground fight for 2 rounds, and a sloppy striking battle for the 3rd round. i had it 29-28 ebersole.

split decision win to ebersole. 29-28, 28-29, 29-28.
