i love the nogs, i love shogun, i like palelei and struve, i dont know who the tuf guys are... in terms of importance though, this fight should probably have been the co-main. at least its a title eliminator. but even dana knows, unless the name is ronda rousey, womens mma doesnt sell anything. thus our co-main is two guys coming off being brutally knocked out.

10-9 gadelha. bigger striker, big takedown at the end to cap it off. easy one.

30-27 gadelha. rogan and goldberg can be very fucking annoying sometimes, this round was right up there. rogan raving about how aguilar was really coming on strong, and taking away gadelha's power... i wish dan hardy and the other british guy would become the main commentators.

needless to say, every judge had it 30-27 for gadelha. mercifully, they dont have to listen to joe rogans idiotic ranting. gadelha vs joanna 2 i would presume is up next.

they charged me 60 bucks for the card tonight. they should give me a discount and only charge me 30 bucks for mighty mouse/dodson. i still probably wouldnt pay it, but at least id consider it.

10-9 palelei. bigfoot was a little better on the feet, but palelei finally got that takedown, and had some good gnp. it looked like bigfoot was a little wobbly walking back to his corner after the round ended.

if you just stand there trying to cover up, a heavyweight as gigantic as bigfoot is going to eventually knock you out. circle, take a weak attempt at a takedown, do anything but stand against the cage with your hands covering your head.

    Re: MMA Thread

10-9 struve. he clearly won the striking game, nog had a ton of cage control. might be a toss up round for the judges, but i thought it was clear for struve, because nog did nothing with the clinch.

    Re: MMA Thread

20-18 struve. struve is clearly the better striker. in terms of pressure and cage control, its big nog. he even had a takedown, almost locked in a rear naked, and even got full mount. and did absolutely no damage with any of it.
