big world series of fighting card on tonight... palhares/shields for the welterweight title and moraes vs moraes [not related] for the bantamweight belt.

oh, and i think the ufc is doing something tonight, not sure.

on a serious note, that ufc card has a SEVEN fight main card. and 3 legit undercard fights, with magny/maia, cummins/feijao and alcantara/issa. very strong card all around, even aside from ronda. i might cave and spend the 50 bucks, instead of watching a stream.

10-9 alves, in control most the round. alves is a guy who gasses though, and taleb is a stalker and paces himself well.

10-9 cummins because his wrestling is on another level. but both his eyes already have swelling. this could get interesting if feijao can set up some punches. it doesnt look like feijao is worried about anything cummins throws with his hands.

20-18 cummins. his wrestling is ridiculous. but feijaos striking, when hes able to get off, is whooping cummins. cummins' face is blown up. unfortunately, feijao is gassed now. hes gonna have to go for one big punch in the 3rd.

or cummins can just finish him with some ground and pound. feijao is fucked up. both of cummins' eyes look like their swelled shut too. thats pretty sick.

10-9 maia. i give magny credit for some solid ground d, in being on his back for 4 and a half minutes, and not being finished. but this is an awful matchup for him. maia either finishes by sub, or just stays on top of him for 4 minutes a round on his way to an easy decision win. to be fair though, it looks like maia is telegraphing everything he does. he'll get smoother.

i know magny won 7 in a row. but he wasnt ready for this. he may just never be ready for this. that was way too easy for maia.
