Problem is that can also result in backlash from WWE for stepping out of line.

I'll say examples of Zack Ryder and argue Dolph Ziggler. Ryder blew up social media and when WWE finally got around to trying they immediately stuck him with Cena and Kane which is never a good thing.

Dolph seems (from interviews) to have an attitude more like a Piper, Cowboy Orton, etc from 30 years ago. He's got no filter and doesn't care who he pisses off... in one of them he even says that he doesn't get more of a push because of it (or something along those lines). Only recently has WWE even bothered to really try anything with him (since the concussion thanks Slyvester the Cat... I mean Jack Swagger). The only difference between those I said earlier and ziggler is they hand Ziggler a script and he's gotta go by it. Where as Piper and Orton, Sr. would take the script and make whoever handed it to them eat it.

My bad, I thought this was just some random interview he gave talking about his time with WWE. Any news I get from this thread is pretty much all the NXT I ever see.

Oh yea Charlotte debuted and I still like her music, makes references to her dad but without that being the overwhelming part of the music (see Natty for the other end of the scale).
