primo/carlito's younger brother, tito, is there as well. the 5 you named, plus him, and then you pick either of the masked wrestlers to be managed by rey, plus mason ryan whos the fcw champion... an easy 8 guys for a 3rd season.

    Re: Official WWE Thread

The only saving grace is that this is gonna be 5 weeks long. Than they are done.
Plus, if they unite the Womens and "Divas" titles like I think they should at NOC, they'll be able to out some of the terrible female wrestlers, and keep a select few of good ones to use on both shows.

I like the idea of using the tag teams and women on both shows, as they don't have a lot of "good" teams to go around to two shows. Lets face it, Santino, and Kozlov aren't gonna be winning tag team belts anytime soon.

i read the unification thing that h.i.g. said as well, and id like it. the champion of the company should be THE champion of the company, their shouldnt be 2 different heavyweight champions. unify every belt, and maybe MAYBE... make the ic/us title, a television title, thats defended on every televised show. that would add alot of value to that belt, and bring it back to 3 titles (plus a womans title). id love to see punk or jericho on every show, defending the tv/ic/us belt every night.

I still think Slater has more potential than most, he also has the bigger washout rate of those you mentioned. He may even need 2 or 3 different gimmicks like Dolph to find one that fits but I think the look is there to at least be an IC caliber guy (likely needing to be face).

    Re: Official WWE Thread

I do like the "World" title being just that.
I also like the idea of keeping the IC, and US titles different, just so they can use the titles for story line purpose, and to be able to have a match every now and again that actually means something worthwhile.

I got huge props for Punk, as it appears Hammer does too. He single handed saved that terrible 900th episode last monday night.

Punk was awesome on Raw, hands down the best thing that night

Punk for me is the only reason to watch SD, what sucks was his elbow injury which was at the SES' peak, but at least they managed to keep Punk on tv during his injury

    Re: Official WWE Thread

punk is superb. him and jericho are the best two things in the company... and jericho is leaving once his contract runs out. i dont watch smackdown too often... i tape it on my dvr, and just fast forward through it til i see something interesting... which usually just consists of punk, and most of the time ill stop and watch the main event, though dos caras/del rio is very good too, and hes got me shutting off the fast forward button too. really, both shows are killing me lately... just boring, theres very few guys that are actually likeable. i liked wwecw, and i liked nxt... and they got rid of/destroyed both of them. punk, jericho, orton, danielson, low ki and jack swagger (and del rio is getting there)... thats about it for guys that are interesting. i wanna like the shows, i try to be a mark and act like im 10 years old again... but they just make it so hard.

and tna is even worse. at least they have a wrestling match once in a while, but somebody needs to tell them not to give away your best potential long term matchups, for free, randomly thrown together, on a weekly episode. when angle fights aj styles, you advertise it, and maybe get some extra viewers... though they build most of their wrestlers like shit anyway, so nobody really cares about any of their guys anyway. which is a shame, because a couple of them are really good... i cant wait til angle is back in wwe, though theyd probably bury him because he left under shitty circumstances last time.

    Re: Official WWE Thread

I really liked the Nexus thing when it started but I'm really not sure where they're going with it anymore.

I think it would have been a lot better had Danielson not been fired and had been a part of it from the start.

Then, after awhile, they could have phased him out of the Nexus by having them bully him around a bit until he finally broke and turned face.

That would have been much better than him just disappearing and randomly reappearing at Summer Slam as a sudden replacement for "Team WWE"

And, while I'm on that subject, they really dropped the ball with that whole thing.

Nevermind the typical Cena victory where he gets his ass beat like a rag doll for most of the match only to have a sudden 3 minute surge at the end and win, the entire premise of the match was dumb.

So, if Nexus won they would have somehow cemented their dominance but since "Team WWE" won they didn't? Ok? How so? It was just a match with no stipulations whatsoever.

They should have made it where if Nexus wins they get to fight for titles again, if they lose they split up. (With them pulling off the win to keep the angle going) Yeah, that might have made the result a bit predictable, but who knows? They could have given team WWE a different incentive that wouldn't result in breaking up the faction.

    Re: Official WWE Thread

Just keep him on SmackDown...anyone that goes to RAW not named Cena, Orton, or HHH (when healthy) gets buried. Edge, Jericho, and John Morrison haven't done much of anything since moving to RAW.

As far as unifying all of the belts, I understand there are too many...but there are also too many wrestlers. If there ends up being one World/WWE Championship belt, do you honestly think anyone other than Cena, HHH, Orton, Undertaker, etc. has a shot? Those guys don't need the belt, but they are almost always around it.

agreed on Del Rio, I just hope that the WWE doesn't pull what they usually do, build up a wrestler get him to high level but never do anything with him after that and he looks like mid carder (recent example Kofi vs Orton)

I'm surprised Sheamus has had it for as long as he has.

Cena no doubt gets it back at NOC, though. (Maybe Barrett wins, but I'm not holding my breath)

I'm not surprised with Sheamus having the belt. HHH is his #1 fan. Cena probably will take it and then Sheamus will resume his feud with HHH when he returns.
