Re: Official WWE/TNA/ROH Thread
Can we at least wait and see how they're going to use Barrett as KotR before we write it off as a wasted KotR that "used to mean something"?
I mean, I don't have high hopes or anything, but I still prefer to see something happen before I declare it as having happened.

I'm probably one of the bigger fan boys on this site for Barrett and even I doubt they'll ever do anything with him. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do anything with it and he'll compete with Billy Gunn, Mabel, and Ken Shamrock as most insignificant winners (Mabel by far worst).

Like I said, I don't have high hopes about it or anything. I just don't believe in declaring something to have happened when it has not yet happened.

Fair Enough.
I really hope WWE has some long term plans for Wyatt and Ryback as well. Both have gotten to a point where I think both could do massive business with Lesnar especially. I think you (if built right) could make Wyatt/Lesnar a Mania upper card match (maybe not at 32) at its pennacle. A more likely place is another big 4 main event with the right build. Ryback would be the immovable object vs the irrestible force (if he continues getting the crowd behind him).
I still believe Ambrose has the greatest flexibility and ceiling of all 3 Shield members.
Also WWE needs main event heels as Orton's a face now, Kane starting to turn against the authority. That leaves Rollins the champ and... Rusev (stuck with Cena)...
Am I forgetting anyone?
Re: Official WWE/TNA/ROH Thread
It seems like a perfect opportunity for a Cena heel turn :yesyesyes:

That it does! Then you can do Orton vs Cena for the 20438920432703 time!
Seriously though that could open up so many NEW avenues for feuds. I more expect a Dean Ambrose Heel turn and MITB win to try and "balance" it.
Re: Official WWE/TNA/ROH Thread
I wouldn't mind an Ambrose turn. His character is more of a fit for heel anyway.

I'm not saying I would either, it get him out of the colossal mess that is the mid/upper mid card face mess of 100 guys and then you add guys like Cesaro and Wyatt that the crowd is getting behind thats suppose to be heels it's a mess.
Ambrose is perfect where he is (sort of a SCSA anti hero face or heel) but there's nothing differentiating anyone from the rest.
An example guys over the top rope. Everyone has a move they do every match. There's nothing special when you see every big guy also doing a plunge of some sort. I wish they'd try and reign in some of that for PPVs to make the move more special and make watching PPV mean more.
Everyone from Luke Harper to the Usos does something like it.
