They did it before when it really was a work and they were talking about it every week on Raw and Smackdown.
They barely even say his name now. They didn't even mention it right after it happened.
But the main argument is it wouldn't be still ongoing 7 months later if it was a work. They're not going to put one of their biggest stars off of television for 7 months plus just for a "he quit" work.
And that's not to say he's wrestled his last match in the WWE or that they won't play off of it if they do convince him to return. Anything can happen. But there's no way it's a work.
lame finish to a solid match.
Who dares call Dustin Rhodes Olddust?
i love how they just completely bitched out all the people who bought the show on ppv. "we just wanna remind you... you spent 54.95 for this"
they shouldve added on "what in gods name were you thinking"
predictable ending aside... he missed the kick too many times, he had to win with it... solid match out of sheamus/cesaro.
playing the role of patterson and brisco.. joey mercury and jamie noble.
im intrigued far more than i should be for henry/rusev. even though i know rusev should get the win with his camel clutch.
i hope nikolai volkoff comes out with rusev to sing the russian national anthem.
You keep saying that like everyone who ever loses to Cena gets no further push.
And don't cite Ryback. He sucks.
its not that they get knocked down the card so much, its just that they kinda flounder where they are/were after theyre done with cena. its like the writers lose interest/direction with those guys. i know slyders been talking about wyatts use since wrestlemania til we all bled from our ears... but hes a perfect example. he hasnt really lost his luster, but he hasnt really gone on to do anything either... hes just kinda there at the moment.
that being said, rusev's character has been built up badly. once he loses, theres no where to go with him. hes been doomed for failure, unless you just have him win forever.
