2014 Mid-season NL Manager of the Year

I think after the first month, Walt Weiss had this award in the bag. But here we are and he's not even on the list.

I'm basically stealing from several articles for the list because I think, at least at this point, it's maybe the most subjective award. Can you list a manager if a team with lofty expectations is living up to them? Or if they had expectations, started off cold, but have had such a resurgence that you have to take some notice? Basically, there is no Clint Hurdle runaway favorite right now.

i didnt even expect milwaukee to register. i thought they were a closer candidate for worst team in the league, than best team in the league before the season started.

If they quit dicking around and let Nelson replace Erik Estrada in the rotation, they might have even more potential

Like Hammer says the Brewers weren't even on my radar going into the season.

Roenicke, I guess. I've seen enough of Fredi to know he's actually a pretty mediocre-to-shitty in-game manager. Mattingly also confounds me. Bochy's team just blew a huge lead and let the Dodgers back in a race, so RR it is.
