    Baseball Slant Worst Offseason Move

The offseason was filled with moves that some saw as stinkers and some more just mindfuckers. From Adam Dunn to Jayson Werth, we have a lot of choices but what do you think was the worst offseason move?

I went with the Wells trade but it was a tougher one than I thought it would be. The Angels took on a ton of salary and might have cost them a shot at the playoffs by trading Napoli.

Adam Dunn would have set the record for WORST AVG. EVER if they hadn't benched him.

It's hard to trade for somebody whose price tag is $81 million and emerge with the less valuable player in the deal, but the Angels did it.

I also love that the Nats will be paying $126 million for the Dodger version of Jayson Werth, except now he's on the wrong side of 30.

I really don't see the problem with Braun or Tulowitzki being signed long term. Keeps them away from the Evil Empire and Nation. Plus..they're really good players on their respective teams.

Can we have a tie? I wanted to vote for Wells and Dunn. Could we mash it together maybe? Vernad Wunnells? I won't fully blame Dunn on the White Sox's miserable year, since Alexis Rios forgot how to hit and so did others, plus they played duck duck goose with their close for half the year. But damn. And LAA is just blatantly.. I don't know what. Not only did Napoli out hit Wells, he out hit Wells + all of their catchers combined. I know he's not an every day catcher, but even still.. I think he out hit Wells + LAA's catchers + Arencibia combined. Napoli is the man.

Both players were already locked up and the was just no point in extending them NOW as they were years from free agency. Now a career ending injury could severely drown a team's payroll for years to come.
