    American League MVP?

I know the N.L. is pretty um.. yeah we all know who haaaaas that one in the bag, so I'll be creative on that poll. As for the AL, maybe not so obvious and who doesn't love a good argument for the most valuable player award?

What matters more for criteria, the best stats or maybe good stats they guided a team to the playoffs, or amazing numbers on a non playoff team? This award has seen a lot over the years, whether it was rookie Ichiro or Alex Rodriguez on a last place team. Being dynamic all-around or being the guy with the best power? Is it winning a batting crown or is it being the most charismatic?

    You decide.

I still dont think the Twins are anywhere near the playoffs without Joe Mauer. To have that season at freaking CATCHER says enough. They were a below .500 team without him.

Mauer is easily the most valuable player. He leads the league in avg/obp/slg and he earns his Gold Glove as a catcher. Not coincidentally, Mauer blows away the competition in the VORP category.

    It's Mauer.

Love that Aaron Hill is one of the choices, because without him in Toronto...that offense is just scary bad this year...

Lind had a pretty quiet but good year.. 30 plus homers, 100 plus RBI. Kinda like Kubel.
