MLB Which Manager Gets Axed First?

A recent article from Foxsports.com Ken Rosenthal suggests that the Astros' Cecil Cooper will be the first to be fired this season. I was wondering who you thought would be the first to go. There are some on the hot seat this year that deserve a firing just as much as Cooper. Who will you vote for and why?

I voted for Jim Leyland because I think the Tigers will have another disastrous season and Leyland is an old man on a team that needs new blood. I am hoping for Bruce Bochy but don't think he will be the first.

If San Diego's hot start quickly fades like it very well could I could see Black getting the axe with the new owner and all. (CEO for now)

Once the Gnats losing streak to begin the season reaches 0-12 or 0-13, Manny Acta will be let go.

I think Cooper has to go. Houston is nowhere as bad as he's making them out to be.

I'll go with Cooper as well. Houston seems to get a boost from firing it's manager every year.

I don't think Dombrowski will fire the manager who he's had the most success with. Get ready for Acta-gone.

Well Rosenthal and all of us who picked Cooper were wrong. He just got an extension. I'm glad the Rockets are decent cause my baseball and football teams suck.

Re: Which Manager Gets Axed First?

What the **** does a manager have to do to get fired?? Bochy pinch hit Eugenio Velez over Edgar Renteria with the bases loaded and Velez struck out on three pitches. He should be fired and I am guessing soon with the day to day blunders.

I can't believe the Tigers have won games with that pitching... looks like Acta is safe for awhile despite that team being a total disaster.
