I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Nice start by some high profile names. I went with Cabrera. Maybe the Brewers can cool him down the first part of this week.
I went with the Lack man.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Dunn finishes the week at .381 with 3 longballs, a double, a 5 walk to 6 strikeout ratio and 6 RBI's. Good way to get it started from the big guy.

BTW I like this idea Porter and I think you should definitely continue it every week.

I voted Grady Sizemore (yes,it's a homer vote).
.429 BA,3 Homers,4 RBI,7 Runs
He ignited the Tribe offense in the opener at Chicago taking the second pitch of the Indians season deep.He then hit the game-winner with his two-run shot against the Sox in game-two of the series. He then hit a homer in his third straight game when he homered in the loss to the White Sox on Thursday.
He'd probally have one or two more homers if we didn't get snowed out of our opening weekend agaisnt Seattle.
Cleveland Indians : 0-5, 5th AL Central
Pittsburgh Pirates Record: 3-2. 1st NL Central
Sizemore is a great choice too.
went with Arod as he raked all week, and then had the GW hit on saturday in grand style.
pitcher of the week, i'd give to johan.

If I went with a pitcher of the week.
8 IP, 12 Ks, 0 ER, 12 Ground outs vs the A's.
That would be the line of Felix Hernandez.

Jake Peavy: 1-0 11 ip, 9 Ks, 0.69 ERA, 1.09 WHIP
he's 1-0 instead of 2-0 due to lack of run support.
That said, i'm voting for Vlad. Just wanted to give Jake some props.
