    Where will Jimmy Rollins' hit streak end?

    Jimmy Rollins is sitting pretty with 37 consecutive games with a hit after this Opening Day moment;

    Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright fell behind 3-0 to Rollins, and the fans booed, knowing a walk would be just as devastating as Rollins making an out. Rollins then laced a fastball to the right-field corner for a double and received a standing ovation.
    Where will this streak end? Will he be able to pass the incredible Joe Dimaggio? Let's all discuss this and see where we end up.

    He'll pass Pete Rose for the National League record.

    He won't pass either, and it doesn't count anyway.

    Thats what I went with Rak. I believe I heard somewhere today that 8 of is hits during this streak came from his last AB. That is cutting it awfully close if you ask me.

    I really want him to get it, but I am not too sure he can considering how many more games he has to go.

    I don't know if he'll get close, but either way I don't think he'll beat it.

    I think he'll get within one game of the streak, then choke and not get a hit the next game.

    Now that would really suck. I don't think I would even want to have been in the race for the record if it came to that. Wow, that would suck hard. You pessimist!

    if he gets it it'll be kinda cheap in the sense that it's not really 56 in a row.

    Commendable feat, but not as great as DiMaggio's if you ask me.

    It could be argued either way.
