Nationals Patterson dominates as Nats beat Dodgers

John Patterson struck out 13 in a complete-game shutout of the Dodgers tonight.
He faced a pretty horrendous lineup, but Patterson would have beaten just about anyone tonight -- or at least pitched well enough to win. It was just Patterson's fifth victory. He has a 0.48 ERA in those games. Nine times he's had quality starts and not won

13 Ks against any team is impressive...damn, this guy's really stepped up and been a huge surprise for the Nationals.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

This really helps them out a lot. Besides Livan, they have quite a drop in talent for starting pitchers, and Patterson has been a big help for them this season. Keep it up John!

I hope he can keep this up as well. If they want to stay within thid division, they are going to have to get better SP. Patterson is a huge help if he continues to throw this well.
