    Nationals Nats Sign LaRoche

According to Peter Gammons of MLB Network, the Nationals have signed Adam LaRoche to a two-year contract.
Gammons reports that LaRoche will take a physical on Thursday before the deal is finalized. No word on the terms, but the two sides were reportedly discussing a contract that would have paid him $8-9 million per season. LaRoche, 31, batted .261/.320/.468 with 25 home runs and 100 RBI with the Diamondbacks last season. We think he'll miss the hitter-friendly Chase Field.
Nationals find their left handed replacement for Dunn in LaRoche. LaRoche doesn't possess the OB skills Dunn does but he does have a much better glove at first which should improve the Nats infield defense. He will provide good protection behind Werth and Zimmerman too. The money seems right so not a bad signing for the Nats considering what they had to chose from this late in the offseason.

Ehh, for the money, Adam Dunn and Josh Willingham > Jayson Werth and Adam LaRoche. IMO

Well yeah, Dunn and Willingham is a lot less money.
