Rizzo Gets 5 Yr Extension

The Nationals signed GM Mike Rizzo to five-year contract extension.
Rizzo was also promoted to the position of Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations and will be given even more say in organizational moves. He's brought in some astounding talent over the last several drafts and will help fill a hole left by Stan Kasten's sudden resignation.

I must say, the Nats continue to impress me with all the moves they are making towards getting this franchise to respectable. I expect Rizzo to be a busy man this offseason and looks like he will be the man in Washington for a while. FIVE MORE YEARS!!
