    Nationals Nats Fans Gasp

Stephen Strasburg was pulled from Saturday's game against the Phillies with an apparent elbow injury.
Strasburg looked to be in a good deal of pain after throwing a pitch in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Nats should reveal more about the situation shortly. He had thrown four-plus innings of one-run ball against a tough Phillies lineup and finished the night with six strikeouts.
Everyone in the Nats front office are not going to be sleeping well tonight. Let's hope its nothing serious but when I hear "elbow injury", you worry.

Hopefully it's nothing serious. That would be a big blow to the Washington franchise and MLB in general.

Strain of the flexor tendon is what they are calling it as of now. MRI is tomorrow.
