    Nationals 7/9: Strasburg's seventh start

Time for my Stephen Strasburg prediction for tonight. He starts at home against the Giants. Strasburg is really fortunate so far to get this many starts at home and only 2 on the road. And because the Giants are terrible offensively, even with Aubrey Huff catching a bit of fire and Buster Posey having a big game in that 15-run pounding of the Brewers, I'm going:

    6.2 innings, 4 hits, 2 runs, 1 walk, 11 strikeouts

I'll predict he won't make it to 5 innings. The Huff Train... cannot be stopped.

Andres Torres crushes one right off the bat. Not a good start.

Perhaps not. Nice bounce back. Adam Dunn added two more reasons he needs to be in the homerun derby.

Does Matt Cain wear a shirt that says "please, no run support today, thanks" ?

Matt Cain unraveled in his game in what I would call typical Chad Billingsley fashion.

Nice outing for Strasburg. But the real story here is Dunn. With rumors that the Nats are open to shopping him, I wonder what this recent surge has caused them to think. Maybe it will change their mind or maybe they are more excited than ever to try to trade him as his .285 BA-22 HR-.963 OPS is looking pretty tasty.
