    Nationals 6/28: Strasburg's fifth start

Second road start for the guy with the 41/5 strikeout-to-walk ratio. It will be in Atlanta against the Braves. Interleague play is over and Strasburg is back to facing National League teams. And that's good news, because Strasburg averages 2 strikeouts per inning against National League teams. Strasburg! Heyward! Drama!

ESPN2 is picking this game up as part of Monday Night Baseball. Clearly must-see TV.

    Prediction: 6.2 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks, 11 strikeouts.

You mean he averages 2 strikeouts per inning against a National League team.

No guarantee Heyward is playing with his thumb injury, he was out today and was only a pinch runner yesterday.

This Natinals defense is a joke. Strasburg should have been through 7 innings without allowing a run, but Desmond boots the double play ball (everyone safe) and the entire inning unfolds differently, with Nyjer then missing the cut-off man on the sac fly throw and then Yunel following up with an RBI single. Oh well, f the Natinals.

It's a LOL-able defense. But Strasburg started the inning off with a 4 pitch walk, those always come back to haunt you!

Also, Strasburg fails to set the record for most strikeouts in the first 5 starts. Bum.

Still glad he's in the NL East.
