Nationals Nick Johnson Out For The Year...Again

Nick Johnson will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair a tear in a ligament on the ulnar side of his wrist.
Johnson was initially expected to miss 4-6 weeks when he suffered the injury back in mid-May, but as has been the case throughout his career weeks turned into months and months turned into a lost season. He's expected to be fully healthy for spring training, but those hopes have proven far too optimistic for Johnson in the past. Dmitri Young will continue to start at first base for the Nationals.
Is there anyone more fragile than Nick and Nomar?? This is his second time missing a significant portion of the season while in the Montreal/Washington franchise. I liked Johnson and thought they should have never got rid of him but now they are glad he did. Well sort of. Giambi is no great guy himself. Johnson will be 30 next year and isn't getting any younger.

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
