    Lo Duca Has Knee Surgery

Paul Lo Duca is scheduled to have surgery on his left knee Monday to repair what his agent called a minor meniscus tear.
Lo Duca will need "an estimated 3-6 weeks for full recovery," his agent, Andrew Mongelluzzi, wrote in an e-mail to The Associated Press. Lo Duca was injured working out last week.
Doesn't seem too serious but he needs to be there when pitchers and catchers arrive since this is a brand new team for Paul.

This is not good for a catcher. Joe Mauer had something like this a few years ago and missed significant time that season. He is substantially younger than LoDuca is and recovery time should have been shorter.
This is tough news for the Nats. They may not be able to count on him to produce much.
