Bill Ladson, of Nationals.MLB.com, reports Washington Nationals RP Jesus Colome (infection) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday, June 24. Colome has a soft-tissue infection in his buttocks, he had similar problems during spring training, but there are complications this time around and it will require surgery.

Bill Ladson, of Nationals.MLB.com, reports Washington Nationals SS Cristian Guzman (thumb) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday, June 24. Guzman sprained the ligament in his thumb during the Nationals' 3-1 win over the Cleveland Indians.
