    Guillen out for the year

    http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/5812350

Washington Nationals outfielder Jose Guillen will have season-ending surgery Tuesday for a completely torn ligament in his right elbow.

The ligament reconstruction - known as Tommy John surgery - will be performed by Dr. James Andrews, who examined Guillen in Birmingham, Ala., on Monday. An MRI exam revealed the full tear.
Sucks for the Nats as they were hoping to possibly trade him or put him on waivers. I guess it sucks for Guillen too.

I clicked New Posts, saw the tread title, and hoped it was Ozzie. lol

Then I noticed this is the Nationals forum.

Is that part of the reason he's been barely hitting over .200?

Probably Not, he ended up hitting .216 before getting injured.

It's not all that bad that he got injured, It gives Kearns a chance to play his natural position out at RF and gives Church a chance to play everyday at the Major League level.
